The 9th August marked 60 years since South African women marched to the Union Buildings to protest the proposed amendments to the Urban Areas Act of 1950.

Instagram was full of empowering messages from local celebs. Thando Thabethe was the powerhouse of the day as she hosted her annual Netball Challenge and launched her #takebackyourpower campaign. Here are some of our favourite snaps.

Celebrating womanhood, the role of women leaders in society. In my own definition, A  woman is someone with great strength, A woman is someone with unconditional love, A woman is someone with courage to face her fears. We can no longer overlook the role of women in society anymore. There are many great women and there has been many great women before us.  let's celebrate women's month by holding each other. We as women have the responsibility to look out for each other. Women need each other.  A woman needs a sister by her side who can hold her hand and tell her that it's okay, someone to give you a pat on the back and say well done. Women of South Africa, let us anchor one another and celebrate our greatness #Happy women's day!?? ...#mbokodo✊?✊??
