Rami Malek Dazzles as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody Trailer

Bohemian Rhapsody has been a long time coming. High-profile cast and crew changes—Sasha Baron-Cohen was supposed to play Queen singer Freddie Mercury at one point, and Bryan Singer was originally the director—made the Queen biopic seem like a far-off prospect. But a new trailer is here, to prove that with Rami Malek (moustache, floppy bangs, and all) playing the legendary musician, it's going to be just as hand-clappingly moving and worth the wait as fans might hope.

Mercury, with his notoriously giant teeth, might not have seemed like the most obvious choice for a leading man. But he was one of the very best in the world. Bohemian Rhapsodycharts his life as he goes from aspiring singer-songwriter to arguably one of the most famous people on the planet, taking the stage at 1985's memorable Live Aid concert—while grappling with a recent AIDS diagnosis.

The film also stars Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aidan Gillen, Tom Hollander, Allen Leech, and Mike Myers.
