Meghan Markle's big first day of royal engagements with the Queen—and solo, without her new husband Prince Harry—continues in earnest over in Cheshire, England. But already the Queen and Markle have shown how clearly fond they are of each other.
While watching children perform at Catalyst Museum by the new Mersey Gateway Bridge they unveiled, the two sat next to each other and shared a laugh. Elizabeth could not stop smiling at her new granddaughter-in-law:
The two have been real partners-in-crime today, also attending the opening of Storyhouse Theatre in Chester, where they watched a performance of "Drop in the Ocean," and greeting children outside the building. During the last part of their visit, they'll have lunch together in Chester Town Hall.
All this is photo proof of the obvious: Elizabeth fully approves of and adores Meghan Markle and her little dog, too.
