Kylie Jenner Gives Her First Personal Update on Baby Stormi Webster

Kylie Jenner returned to Twitter this afternoon to lament the state of Snapchat following the app's latest controversial update and to give a brief update on Stormi Webster, her 20-day-old daughter.

A Twitter user identifying themselves as a fan asked Jenner how Webster was doing while Jenner was tweeting about Snapchat. She responded that her baby is doing quite well and let the two smiley faces she added say the rest. "She’s good ?," Jenner tweeted. "Still staring at her all day. She looks just like me when I was a baby ?"

Her most extended statement was in her birth announcement post. "I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions," Jenner wrote then. "I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness."

"Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life-changing experience I’ve had in my entire life, and I’m actually going to miss it. I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could. My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn’t wait to share this blessing. I’ve never felt love and happiness like this I could burst! Thank you for understanding."

After answering the fan's question about Stormi, Jenner went back to pledging her devotion to SnapChat. "Still love you tho snap," she wrote. "My first love."

This is a bit of a reversal from her initial post-update stance. On February 9th, Jenner expressed her displeasure with the new Snapchat in some of her first post-baby tweets. "Mm just saw the new Snapchat.. I don’t know how I feel about it! What do you guys think?" she started, before admitting in a second tweet that she "kinda agree[s]" the old Snapchat should be restored.
