The actress recently confirmed her engagement to Brad Falchuk
Gwyneth Paltrow has made her first public appearance since announcing her engagement to Brad Falchuk, and all eyes were on her sparkling blue engagement ring.
The actress was attending the Producers Guild Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, during which she presented Ryan Murphy with the Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television.
Murphy and Falchuk are long-time collaborators, having previously co-created Glee, andAmerican Horror Story.
Paltrow wore an elegant red Alex Perry dress to the event, which contrasted with her unique ring, the center stone of which appears to be a beautiful deep-blue sapphire.
Paltrow and Falchuk confirmed their engagement earlier this month after they released a joint statement to Good Morning America.
"We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship," they announced.
The happy couple also appeared on the cover of Paltrow's modern lifestyle publication Goop's Sex and Love issue.
Speaking about their three-year relationship, the actress revealed: "Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be.
"I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy."
Paltrow was previously married to Coldplay's Chris Martin, with whom she has two children, Apple, 13, and Moses, 11. Martin appears to have given his full approval of Falchuk, as the modern family have already been pictured enjoying brunch together.
