The team that is MMuso Potswane and Maxwell Boko, who both come from from humble beginnings in the Eastern Cape and Free State respectively, entered the local fashion scene and seemingly became overnight household names. Thanks to their internships with notable designer, David Tlale, they were taught to have a distance eye and never settle for anything less than brilliance.
Down to earth and genuinely caring people, I recall sitting next to both of them at one of the Spring/Summer SA Fashion week shows, to which they adamant about supporting other designers. Since blossoming into becoming competitive up-and-comers, they've captured the eyes of Carol Bouwer, even collaborating with her in their Spring/Summer 2018 runway show, and Krown Kween Kwena Baloyi, who has been spotted a number of times wearing MMUSOMAXWELL pieces.
