We're going on the run with Bey and Jay...
Trust queen Bey to bring the interwebs to a near halt with a surprise announcement about a tour with her husband Jay Z, starting in June. The On The Run ii stadium tour kicks of on Wednesday, June 6 in the UK and the 21st in North America. As if that wasn't enough, the power duo dropped a teaser video on Tidal for subscribers to gawk at.

Bey and Jay last toured together in 2014 but have made surprise appearances at one another's recent concerts. The pair recently gave us somewhat of a theatric look into their personal lives with the release of the Family Feud video featured on Jay's 4:44 album. Unfortunately, Africa has been excluded from this musical narrative (again) but that doesn't mean we can't save up for tickets or at least live vicariously through the folks in Europe and 'Murrica.
We camped out on the TL(timeline), as per usual and sourced some of the funniest Twitter reactions from around the world the announcement:
Me: "I do not want another Beyoncé and Jay-Z tour!!"

I have been telling ALL of you that SHE. IS. COMING.
No games are played.
She has been traveling with her hair in braids and with MacBook in hand.
Hope your 401Beys and your Beyonc-savings accounts ARE. IN. ORDER.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z just announced OnThe Run 2. Happy Monday.

And the Beyhive is undisputed in which side they'd take if they had to choose.

and on the real, if you love jay-z, i think you'd enjoy him more opening for beyonce instead of running on and off the stage. and i think we'd all prefer to see beyonce without jay hanging around.
him opening would be a win. but it'll never happen.

You know what’s better than another Beyoncé and Jay-Z tour?
A just Beyoncé tour.

And what would Twitter be without a little shade?
beyoncé is only taking jay z on tour because he can’t be trusted home alone for 5 months

I hope Beyoncé and Jay-Z use the audio from the elevator fight that they erased from internet as an interlude.

I feel like Beyonce and Jay-Z are going to keep touring together forever because neither of them wants to be the one watching the kids backstage at the other's show

People say Beyoncé should leave Jay-Z at home but the only things she needs to leave behind are Baby Boy and Naughty Girl tbh

*whispers* Hi Beyoncé, you have fans in Africa too - incase you forgot.
