Currently in its seventh incarnation, the popular polo and social event of the year celebrates the sport of kings combined with Veuve Clicquot champagne.
The 2017 Veuve Clicquot Masters Polo will be held at Val de Vie Estate, Franschoek, on Saturday 4 March 2017 to witness international polo players compete for the coveted Veuve Clicquot Masters Polo Cup. Val de Vie estate will also be transformed in line with the theme #ClicquotJourney, to ensure guests experience a journey (of the senses) around the world with Veuve Clicquot, without leaving the picturesque Paarl/Franschhoek valley. The 2017 theme – #ClicquotJourney – will celebrate the thrill of traveling to new and interesting places and iconic cities around the world. To bring the #ClicquoutJourney theme to life, some of the iconic cities that the popular Yellow label champagne brand travels to – such as Los Angeles, Tokyo, Paris, London, New York and Cape Town will be featured through interesting activities on the day. This year’s dress code, inspired by some of the best fashion in these cities, is ‘Cruise Collection’.
