New York Times photographer Bill Cunningham is on Jackie’s radar (read what she says about him in her Tips For Making It In The World Of Fashion here). Bill Cunningham New York, the film, documents the octogenarian photographer of the New York Times as he chronicles fashion trends and high society soirees for the Times’ Style section in his columns, ‘On the Street’ and ‘Evening Hours’. For forty years Cunningham’s attention has been firmly on the streets and sidewalks of the Big Apple, documenting fashion through his lens.

Siyasanga on 2/17/2012: Wish I could be there, but I'm stuck in PE. Hope all the winners enjoy and suck up all the info that they'll need to make it in the industry.
Kelsey on 2/17/2012: oh my!!! I would love to win these tickets as street fashion and street photography is a massive passion of mine!!!! I would love to learn and be able to see for myself how someone, as magnificent as Cunningham, has made such a name and lifestyle through fashion! What an awesome opportunity!
Eeden la Grange on 2/17/2012: This is one amazing opportunity. I'm a photographer, studying languages at Stellenbosch University! My dream is to one day become a photojournalist for a brilliant publication. I really hope that I'll be able to go and view this screening to enhance and broaden my perspective on the different genres of photography. I'm sure it is going to be a inspiring opportunity I can't allow myself to miss. Thank you for opening these doors to students too. x
Nicole on 2/17/2012: Bill Cunningham is the pioneer of street style! I am such a huge fan of his and I've been super excited to see this film for a few months now! It would be really awesome if I could finally see it :) I love this quote about him: “I don't know how many times he has taken my photograph, but we all dress for Bill. You feel he's the only one who notices or cares how you dress. I wonder if Bill will like this. And it's always a flattering picture he chooses. He picks everything carefully, so you will look your best. He's a very seductive guy.” - Editor in chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour.
Arthi Singh on 2/17/2012: Seriously! Who would call anything "The Labia"
Amy on 2/19/2012: I have recently discovered Elle Magazine after having returned home to South Africa after studying film production overseas. I always thought Elle magazine was just about high fashion but the articles are incredible and having specialised in documentary film making, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to attend the screening for this film - it's the perfect combination - New York, Photography and Fashion - my heart beats faster at the thought - pick me and you'll be sure to put a HUGE smile on my face :)
Sheron Gailwe on 2/19/2012: Well I'm a 19 year girl, who'll oozing with ideas for the fashion industry. Currently I'm studying fashion design and merchandising. Ever since I entered the fashion industry, I've realized its more than just about the designer's garment being showcased on the ramp but rather how do we take the same garment in captured motion and share it with the world. Now winning this competition could actually nurture me into something incredible for this industry.
Qayshara on 2/19/2012: It will be a glorious opportunity to watch this film. I am currently working in the fashion industry and as time changes fashion changes every second with it and I would love to evolve and change with it in having the time to witness this marvelous film of Bill Cunningham's work of Art.
Eeden la Grange on 2/20/2012: Aaah, noo:( Oh well... Enjoy girls! Very well deserved! x
