Saying that we 'watched' the new trailer for the live action remake of The Lion King wouldn't be accurate. It's more like we experienced it. According to News24 details about the film have been hush hush since it was announced that the same director who directed The Junglebook, Jon Favreau, would be joining the film.
A cast announcement made after, told us that South African actor, John Kani, would star as Rafiki with Beyonce as Nala, Donald Glover as Simba, John Oliver playing Zazu, Seth Rogan as Pumba and Billy Eichner as Timone. Chiwetel Ejiofor will voice the iconic Scar and James Earl Jones will be reprising his role as Mufasa. We mean. Come on!

The Lion King is set to release in the US on 19 July 2019 and we cannot wait!
