We received a surprise package in the features department, shipped all the way from London and with love from Taschen. When we opened it, there were two beautiful Keel’s Simple Diaries staring back at us. Banana yellow ones, which we love, although we hear Sienna Miller opted for pink.

SimpleDiary

According to Keel’s there are three reasons even the best-intentioned battle to keep up a diary: not every day is eventful, it takes a lot of discipline and many find what they have written embarrassing. Which is why they came up with a way to make it fun. (Trust us, we were amused!) The clever comments and simple approach is perfect for recording your daily thoughts and life’s moments. Circle a word, answer a question, tick a box and read a refreshing snippet each day. The illustrations and text are adorable.

In case you’re wondering where to get one, it’s your lucky day: we’re giving ours away. To enter, simply tell us why you’d love to make the Keel’s Simple Diary from Taschen yours by commenting below.

This Competition is now closed. Congratulations to Meggan and Louise, we’ll be in touch shortly!

If you can’t wait, pop in to Exclusive Books or order one online from taschen.com – there are six colours to choose from.

megan thomas on 2/22/2012: I would love to make it mine because I'm a student and not only would the beautiful design and pop of colour make life in class that much more bearable, it will help me to remember all the work I have to do to achieve my dreams and passing my degree :)
Megan Josephs on 2/22/2012: I'd love the Keel’s Simple Diary because it will help with the creative chaos going on in my head.A Quiet moment and the diary are all I need.
Louise on 2/22/2012: The second month of the year is almost in the past and I still haven't managed to find a diary to help sort out my life. The Keel diary will be such a stylish helper in my life!
Sim on 2/23/2012: Because I don't know what's happening at work tomorrow:-)no seriously this diary would be great for a creative mind like me who gets intimidated by the serious business type diaries available and because I cannot use a kids homework diary-it looks bad.this is beyond perfect for me-plus the yellow one is perfect for my sunny disposition:-) xoxo
Thandy on 2/24/2012: I've kept a diary since I was in primary and as I grow older and a lot of things are taking place in my life writing on my diary I have been writing less and less. I think with this diary I might just be more motivated to do so. :)
Meggan on 2/27/2012: I have always kept a diary, in high school it was all about love interests and embarrassing moments but as i get older its all about to do lists. Would love to go back to my daydreaming days when anything was possible and everyday was a major event. Love life love colour love stationary
