The PUMA Social Club with its mix of after-hours sport, live acts and late-night fun launched in Braamfontein recently and will be on for six hot summer months. Just down the road from Puma’s new Braamfontein flagship store and we asked our Jo’burg contributor Chipo Mapondera for the lowdown:

‘The concept venue, which was launched in 2010 as a pop-up venue to pay homage to After Hours Athletes and to celebrate the team mates concept, now is at at 81 De Korte Street for six hot summer months. It’s on every Friday and this week it’s Moe Joe versus Minx.’

Laila Kader on 10/31/2012: I think that Puma has an awesome idea. They did something similar last year and I ended up kicking 23 guys butts in front of the camera and won a puma jacket. I will never forget the look on the guys faces when they were beaten by a female. GIRL POWER!!
