Literally the day after New York Fashion Week had its final show, Antoni & Alison’s models walked down the London Fashion Week runway for its opening show. While things will draw to a close in London this evening, here’s what caught our eye these past five days.

Mary Katrantzou

After grabbing our attention last season with her amazing floral prints and poppy-lined runway, she did it again and this season she has wowed us again with her out-of-this-world prints (pencils, spoons and typewriters made featured on her catwalk), rainbow colours and interesting silhouettes.

McQ

McQ, Alexander McQueen’s ‘younger’ label, has its first fashion week outing in London and we love Sarah Burton’s take on autumn that saw the models walking down a leafy runway. As Style.com put it: ‘The showstoppers were the nipped-waist evening dresses, appliquéd with multicolour flowers and floating on a sea of tulle.’

Burberry Prorsum runway

The stars came out to play for the Burberry Prorsum show. We like the unusual mix Christopher Bailey showed us, such as herringbone and tweed, corduroy and lace. Although this was something new, we could clearly see Burberry’s iconic design coming through.

Ps. Love the snow at the finale.

Once again Tommy Ton took to the streets of London for Style.com and we couldn’t resist sharing these amazing off-the-runway looks.

As you know we love neon, even at home.
