This year, sultry-eyed indie songbird Lana Del Rey is fashion’s favourite muse.

In March she graced the cover of British Vogue and since then has been signed by Next Model Management, had a Mulberry bag named after her and was unveiled as the global face of H&M’s autumn/winter 2012 campaign.

The latest round of images from the winter 2012 campaign featuring Lana has caused a fashion frenzy. Released this week, these images have a much darker tone and feel than those from the first campaign that was released in July.

In this series, Lana is posing in a blue-lit garage while dressed in warm winter staples like quilted puffer jackets, cosy knits, leather leggings and faux-fur vests.

Sølve Sundsbø, a renowned photographer who previously produced Coldplay album covers, took the photographs.

More images from H&M’s winter 2012 campaign will be released as the season progresses.
