Juicy Couture's Fall 2018 Campaign Pokes Fun At The Age Of The Influencer

It's quite humorous actually

The unveiling of Juicy Couture's Fall 2018 ad campaign headed "Paid Partnership With..." playing on the rise of the age of the influencer, had us going "bravo Juicy Couture; bravo".

The add features seven models (including Nisaa Pouncey, Devon Lee Carlson, Issa Lish and more) posing as influencers mimicking Instagram posts which are paid for by the brand's themselves to help push a particular product. The ads also feature each model's handle and the hashtag #JUICYCOUTURE, much like Twitter and Instagram posts do.

We're also loving the updated tracksuits with pops of colour and sports-luxe motifs (a revamp of the naughties matching tracksuits made famous by Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie). Although the ad is a clear comment on the huge shift of focus in the fashion industry, some arguing a lack of an authentic voice when an influencer is chosen to front a brand, it hit the nail on the humour head with it's execution.
