HOW TO GET THE LOOK: DAYTIME EASE WITH TERENZO

Award-winning hairstylist and owner of Terenzo International Hairdressing Terence shows you how to create a stylish daytime look in five easy steps.

Take your inspiration from the catwalks of Nina Ricci (below left) and Giambattista Valli (below right) as well as the womanly Kat Dennings!

You will need:
• A styling product like Redken Ringlet 07 Curl Perfecting Lotion, R245
• A hairdryer
• A straightening iron
• Hairspray
• Bobby pins and hair bands

STEP 1: While hair is wet, apply a styling product that will create curls.

STEP 2: Switch your hairdryer to a slow speed and add volume and curls by scrunching your hair with your hands. This adds great texture to a wavy look.

STEP 3: Once dry, create big curls by wrapping large sections of hair around a wide straightening iron. Hold each for about a minute before releasing.

STEP 4: Complete the look by pinning up random strands of hair with bobby pins. Twist them to the side to create a half-up, half-down look.

STEP 5: Spritz hair lightly with a strong-hold hairspray to keep it in place.
