Very few things feel better than giving back and putting a smile on a child’s face. So let’s do both by participating in this year’s Nappy Run on National Children’s Day on Sunday.

Initiated by the National Council for Personswith Physical Disabilities in South Africa (NCPPDSA) and the National Association of Persons with Cerebral Palsy (NAPCP), the Nappy Run is an interactive way to get involved and help raise the profile of children withdisabilities.

It’s taking place at the Johannesburg Zoo and everyone is invited to run, walk, roll or stroll for five kilometres (wearing a nappy) to symbolise the difficulties that children with physical disabilities go through, including incontinence.

For more information visit the Nappy Run website, email danie@nappyrun.org.za or follow @NappyRun on Twitter.
