GREAT GATSBY LOOKS GREAT

We are excited to see some of Hollywood’s biggest names star in Baz Luhrmann’s version of the ’20s novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Jay Gatsby, Isla Fisher is Myrtle Wilson and Tobey Maguire is the struggling writer, Nick Carraway, who comes to New York. Luhrmann cast Carey Mulligan opposite DiCaprio in the role of Daisy Buchanan. As the trailer (which you can watch below) shows, the film has beautiful, sweeping shots of Gatsby’s sophisticated soirées, amazing sets and costumes that looks as if they have stepped right out of the ’20s. But what gives the film that special edge that Luhrmann is known for? No Church in the Wild, the Kanye West/Jay-Z collaboration that opens the trailer.
