Here is what you need to enter the ELLE Style Reporter in association with BlackBerry:

(1)  Create a blog that demonstrates your creative ability and fashion knowledge. Already got a blog? Yes, of course you can enter it!

(2)  Create a blog post inspired by the ELLE Edits section in our July issue (from page 17), in which leading SA style reporters unpack the trend. No longer have your July issue? Don’t panic – here are the pages!

(3)  Choose a trend and interpret it your own way, using pictures you’ve taken yourself. You only need to create and submit one post to enter! (if you are selected as a finalist, though, you will need to keep your blog going.)

(4)  Give it your personal stamp, bringing it alive with visual content and your own considered point of view.

(5)  Ask yourself: does my blog post demonstrate my fashion knowledge? Does it have visual impact? Have I intergrated text and images in a compelling presentation?

(6)  Now click here to complete your entry form and provide the URL of your blog post.

IMPORTANT DATE: Entries close on 10 September 2012

lindiwe tsheka on 8/25/2012: hi i'm really confused about how to enter online do we have to print the form and post it along side with the motivational piece,do we also email just the link to the email adress given? i'm done with my post just a tad bit baffeled as to how i send it through help!
ELLEmagazineSA on 8/26/2012: Hi Lindiwe, submission details are clearly outlined in the downloadable entry form. You will need to send through your motivation, completed entry form and well as your Style Reporter created URL in the body of the mail along with ELLE Style Reporter in the subject line. Chanelle on 9/5/2012: Hi ELLE, I just want to clarify whether the trend chosen for the Elle Style Reporter blog post can be any fashion trend or has to be one of the featured trends in the ELLE Edits section? I'm asking this because in the magazine or above it says "Choose a trend" , and when I read the entry form is says "Choose any trend featured.." I'm almost done with my blog post, but just thought I'd ask for clarification in case I've went wrong somewhere. Thank you.
