We are incredibly proud of the special section in ELLE’s August issue in which we focus on style with substance in action. Yes, ELLE’s Female Factor initiative closed with three Female Factor discussions in Jo’burg, Cape Town and Durban where editor Jackie Burger and other influential and amazing women gathered to discuss the issues that affect us all. One hot topic was HIV and Aids. On page 54, Phindile Sithole-Spong, who was recently appointed to the board of directors of AIDS Consortium, tells of her personal journey and changing perceptions of HIV and Aids.
