If it wasn’t for holidays we would never ever have time for some serious handiwork. This DIY shoulder bag inspired us to put our pens to fabric and get doodling. To make your own, follow our step-by-step guide. It’s pretty easy.

Use a pencil and draw the outline of a clutch onto an old clutch or pencil bag. 

 

Trace the outline with a black marker. (Use a ruler if you don’t have a steady hand.)

 Get creative with a bedazzler.

 Punch holes in the bag for the shoulder chain.

Insert brass grommets in the holes.

  Thread a handbag chain through both holes.
