David Tlale Debuts a New Bridal Collection with a Fashion Show at Boschendal

Go bold, or go home!

Trust our very own internationally acclaimed designer, David Tlale to bring out all the stops for a bridal show collection that is so beautiful, we’re dreaming about our big day set against the breathtaking landscape of  Boschendal Wine Estate.

The #TlalexBoschendal Weekend experience was a two-day luxury soiree of fashion, food and bubbles, the Tlale Boschendal Collaboration in association with Courvoisier. The guest list included some of the most prominent fashion influencers and media personalities, treated to a one of a kind show and a taste of Tlale’s very own cocktail,  Courvoisier Noir

Known for his showmanship with decades of industry highlights under his (stylish) belt, David said, “We wanted people to get to know the brand, our aesthetic, our ethos and lifestyle.”

And the show? 25 brides and 7 grooms walked to a theatric backtrack, which was, so fitting for the whimsical collection and closed with a bold grande finalé, a gorgeous mint gown-clad model arriving on a horse and carriage – because what else right? The showstopper gown was inspired the Boshendal Demi Sec and yes, it is as delicious as the dress is beautiful – sweet and sophisticated.

Tlale says, “The Demi Sec is the ideal Cap Classique to add a touch of glamour and sophistication to any celebration – and what is more celebratory than a wedding? They are a perfect pair.”

The 25 piece dress collection, including the men’s collection was far from what one would expect from a bridal show palette with hues of ivory, soft pinks, and graphic splattered-paint-esque prints.  It was a show to remember! Well done, Mr. Tlale.
